These words, echoed by Michael Jordan, ring true to this day. Jordan understood the importance of establishing a team that recognised the efforts of others. After all, we all want to know that we are appreciated and that the work we do makes a significant contribution to the success of the organisation.

At Toppr, we recognise that our employees are the backbone of our organisation. As industry leaders, we strive to align our organisational culture around our common purpose — to personalise learning.

Our shared goal serves as a guide, giving our employees a sense of connection that goes far beyond their assigned tasks. This clear sense of purpose is the glue that has allowed us to continuously create personalised moments and foster better learning for our users.

At Toppr, we believe in developing long-term relationships with our employees and build Toppr from within. We strike a balance between people and process that leads us to conduct several employee engagement activities to improve teamwork, morale, and employee satisfaction.

Toppr Claps is one such prestigious employee recognition program at Toppr. It aims at recognising employees based on their exemplary performances. Originated from being conducted within walls of an office, Toppr Claps has been held virtually since May 2020.

Toppr Claps stands by all Toppr Values because, without Toppr Values, performance cannot be evaluated. Over the last 8 years, we have let our 10 Toppr Values lead us in the workplace. These values form our guiding light, which helps us evaluate and elevate our performance day after day.

Toppr Claps winners are employees who embrace our core values to the fullest and lives to awe their fellow team members with outstanding work. Our winners are nominated by employees and chosen by the leadership team. One employee from every department is awarded a certificate in the presence of all employees across Head Offices.

To nominate a coworker for this prestigious award all one needs to do is submit their nomination to the HR team when nominations open.

While managers can definitely reward employees, we let employees nominate their peers. We believe that peer-to-peer employee rewards and recognition help build a positive team spirit that embodies all Toppr Values.
